2009 MTV VMA Video Music Award Winners
2009 MTV VMA Awards was held yesterday and Beyonce came home with the Video of the Year award, Lady Gaga won the Best New Artist Award while Taylor Swift took home the Best Female Video award. The event pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson. The event was not without any controversy as Kayne West took the mike when Taylor Swift went to the podium to accept the award.

Best Special Effects: Lady GaGa, “Paparazzi” (produced by Factory Features)
Best Cinematography: Green Day, “21 Guns” (cinematography by Jonathan Sela)
Best Art Direction: Lady GaGa, “Paparazzi” (art direction by Jason Hamilton)
