Takeru Kobayashi Defeated Again in Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest 2009

For the third year in a row, Takeru Kobayashi was defeated in the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in the fame Coney Island amusement park. Although, Kobayashi chowed down a record 64 hot dogs it was not enough as American Joey Chestnut also chowed down a record of 68 hot dogs.

The winner gets $10,000 Cash (USD), with trophy, two cases of Nathan’s hot dog and a championship belt.

Very Creative Print Ad from Nikon

Found the ad from Nikon to be very creative. I’m assuming this poster is very old as it is touting the advantages 3M pixel over 2M pixel. Apparently more pixel is better. Cameras now a days are still touting high pixel resolutions eventhough most people will see no difference at all.

Japanese are known for their ultra expensive fruits. This year, Hiroichi Kimura, a farmer from Kumamoto, Japan, created a perfectly Heart shaped watermelons just in time for Mother’s Day. They were sold for $160 USD at their local Department store.
