Noriko Sakai surrenders to Police and aftermath
Noriko Sakai surrenderred to Police this weekend after hiding in Yamanashi prefecture and Tokyo for last 5 days. Sakai admitted to police that she had been using drugs for the past year. It was also revealed that when using drugs, she usally heated the stimulants and inhaled them using a pipe.

In the aftermath of the drug scandal, her agency is planning to terminate her contract. Also, Victor Entertainment, her record label company, plans to suspend all sales of Sakai’s music including her best singles compilation that was scheduled to be released next month.
