Tata Motors India set to debut Ultra cheap Nano Car at $2,000
Tata Motors based in India is set to launch it’s ultra cheap Nano car in Mumbai on Monday. The nano has a starting price of slightly less than $2,000 USD. The car is only 10.2 feet long with only one windshield wiper. The car does not have air bags or antilock brakes. If you want air conditioning, radio or power steering, you’ll pay extra as they are optional package.
Ironically, Tata Motors purchased 2 iconic and luxury brands this summer, Jaguar and Land Rover. I personally think it cute and many people might find it attractive considering small parking spaces in New York and Tokyo. It’s like a mini cooper except it’s 1/10 of the price.
